Facts: Built in 1785, this bullring is one of the oldest in Spain and considered a homage the to bullfighters. Hemingway spent many hours here studying bullfights and admiring them. It is not used anymore for bullfights, except in September at the special Feria. You can actually walk on the golden yellow sand of the arena imagining what it must have been like in the old days of bullfighting when the bullfighters were celebrated like popstars.

New Bridge (Puente Nuevo)
Tel: 649 965 338 Price: 2€ , 1€ groups and students Facts: In the era of FelipeV, in the year 1735, a 35 meters archway was constructed. Six years later in 1741 the bridge was flooded and 50 people drowned in the incident. In 1751 building works started again and finished in May 1793 during the festivities of the Feria, 42 years later. This masterwork, 98 meters tall, ranges from the depths of the gorge up to a impressive, majestic arch, linking the new town with the old town.. This is the work you can still admire today. You can visit a small museum inside the bridge,depicting the history of the construction.

The Arab baths are always worth a visit. This one is from the 13th century and is very well preserved. Walking down a steep road you will be able to admire them from above first. Consisting of 3 halls, the structure and its use is easily recognizable.
