Passion Café Dining This is the place for those with a sweet tooth and for those who won't admit to it. Take one look at the display fridge and delight in the beautiful desserts and cakes there. Banoffee pie, cheese cake, apple crumble, chocolate cake, brownies !!!. All home made and ALL mouth wateringly good. Whatever you eat here, make sure you leave room for a dessert and if you're with friends, have a many different ones as you can! It is unusual to start a description of a restaurant with what normally comes last but there"™s no way we could have done this the other way around.
This large, spacious restaurant, with outside terraces on either side, has tastefully decorated walls in subtle blue, chocolate, beige, khaki, mauve, and terracotta red. There is a constantly changing display of paintings and sculptures which not only serve as a beautiful décor but can be purchased. Wicker and rattan furniture gives the interior a tropical touch and the whole ambience is one of laid-back elegance.
All dishes are freshly made in the open front kitchen and you can choose from the wide range of wraps, burgers, pizzas, Thai wok dishes or just plain ol' fish n' chips which certainly can't be classed as "plain" here. The quesadilla dishes are always accompanied by different delicious dips and everything is beautifully presented. If you love salads this is the place to go. Spanish restaurants always feature the good quality "ensalada mista" but here you get salads with spinach, goats" cheese, croutons, pine nuts, honey dressing, crispy bacon !!!. The list is endless. All the food is served with fresh bread and for those of us who want to watch their weight we can highly recommend the home made brown bread. In fact vegetarians have a variety of dishes to choose from in Passion Café. And for a taste of England, try the Braised Beef with Red wine and Parsnips.
Breakfast is on offer until 1pm and ranges from an all English, thru to American Pancakes with maple syrup, to yoghurt and fruit. Milk shakes, smoothies, fresh fruit juices complement the drinks menu and there are plenty of wines, beers, and cocktails to choose from. There is even an ecological red on the menu - Marqués de Vitoria Rioja. All food can be ordered as takeaway and every day there is a new special menu. As Passion Café also has free WiFi you might find yourself going there for breakfast and staying through to lunch whilst working on your laptop and maybe even having a pre-dinner cocktail before leaving to go home.
