As the name says, this is a beer bar, also indicated by the beer barrel tables inside and outside. Wooden floors and rafters as well as sherry barrels with taps behind the bar add to the general warm and very Spanish ambience. A variety of cold beer on tap or in bottles is on offer as well as a large selection of well temperatured wines. The bar extends the full length of the room along one side and holds many dishes containing all kinds of tapas presented in a display fridge on top of which there are glass glochés with cheeses of varying maturity. Set in the middle of the bar are two hocks of ham (Iberian & Serrano) which like all the rest of the food can be ordered as tapas, ½ raciones or a racion. Roscas are large circular breads with a hole in the middle and are also on order with various fillings. This is a Spanish speciality not found in many tapas bars and well worth trying. La Bodeguitta is a definite must if you want to take in the feeling of the "real" Spain. Andalujo 2010
