Situated in the old fishing village of Castillo de la La Duquesa, Hachomar is a traditional fish restaurant, located on one of the only three streets and next to the beach .
The restaurant has an enclosed area outside and in summer the glass panels are opened, letting in a fresh breeze from the ocean.
Coming in you will see a miniature fishing boat on you right filled with fresh fish lying on ice, next to that is a water tank with live crabs and lobsters. There's no way the fish isn't fresh here!. This is one of the few places you get homemade desserts; try the creme brulée, which is excellent.
The waiters are friendly and competent and more than willing to explain the various dishes. This is one of the few restaurants open on Mondays.
